A different type of Post than the usual Tips and Tricks and Artwork, today we’re going to talk about Inspirational Artists and how it can help us to Create better Art by drawing inspiration from other Artists.
We at Don Corgi personally believe that it’s VERY important to keep your mind on a Creative Mood so you don’t stop going and have constantly new Ideas. This will help you improve very quickly over time, and the more you’re able to keep that state of mind, the quicker you will Improve.
So without further ado, here’s Charlie Bowater, you can find her amazing work below!
Some info about Charlie
Charlie Bowater is a Concept Artist and a complete book nerd. She lives in the North East, UK and works full time as a Principal Artist at Atomhawk for over 7 years now. She is 29 years old, born in 88′.
Outside of her 9-5 day job she works on a variety of freelance projects usually revolving around illustration. She worked on Illustration work, Classes, Tutorials and Book Covers for a whole lot of different Agencies and Companies.
Now for my opinion, she has an amazing Style an can work wonderfully with Shapes, you can see her work just FLOW through the painting. Her Gesture Drawing skills are amazing to convey the movement, and her color choices are just perfect. Even her Gray and Black and White artwork has great tones that look great together.
Here are some of our favourites picks from her Art Portfolio. If you like what you see, consider supporting her on Patreon!
