Agus Setyawan
A different type of Post than the usual Tips and Tricks and Artwork. Today we’re going to talk about Inspirational Artists and how it can help us to create better Art by drawing inspiration from other Artists.
We at Don Corgi personally believe that it’s VERY important to keep your mind in a Creative Mood, so you don’t stop going and constantly have new Ideas. This will help you improve very quickly over time, and the more you can keep that state of mind, the quicker you will Improve.
So without further ado, here’s Agus Setyawan, or most commonly known as Angoes25. You can find his amazing work below!
Some info about Agus Setyawan
Agus Setyawan aka Angoes25 was born and grown-up in Semarang city of Central Java, Indonesia. He creates illustrations, Lettering and other Graphic arts. From his work, he usually likes to draw Animals in Geometric Shapes, Time and Universe. Everything from Natural to Magical, Mystical and Fantastical.
From his words taken on Society6 “I Live in the present and simply put my life as a dream to perform. I just can’t stop dreaming for one Minute.” and I believe that’s a beautiful way to see the world in Perspective. Never stop moving, and keep pursuing your Dreams but with your head in the Present. Do what you LOVE, and you’ll get there sooner or later, just don’t stop.
I also love how he uses shapes and color in his work, he tends to go through a mostly Geometric Route but when using color you can see anything from simple Pale Colors, to very Bright Neons. And surprisingly, everything looks astonishing! He is really able to just diversify and still keep to his own style all along, I find it amazing.
There’s no stopping his work, and I hope to see more over the coming Years! Check below for some of his Artwork and his Portfolio.
Here are some of our favourites picks from his Art Portfolio.
